KGGV Daily Announcements

11 am to noon - Listen to Anecdotal Evidence, your local history show hosted by Laura Mueller.

Noon to 1 pm - Tune in to hear a rebroadcast of “Hoos Cookin” from last Monday.

1 pm to 4 pm - At 1pm on The Vocal Scene, Mark Gregory will be celebrating the 75th birthday of American composer, Philip Glass. You'll hear a Live recording from Sept. 2005, of his opera,WAITING FOR THE BARBARIANS, starring Richard Salter and Elvira Soukop.

4 pm to 5 pm – Under The Riverbank with host Angie Orr invites you to hop on your horse or climb aboard our hay wagon and take an enjoyable ride down memory lane with Guest Host RIVER RANGER! Under the Riverbank will have an hour of cowboy tales, stories and poems plus catching up chatter. Happy Trails to all!

5 pm to 6 pm

Join Pat for “Community Express” with music of, by, and for the Russian River.

6 pm to 8 pm

DJ Hunter brings you Classic Disco Hits of the 70's, 80's, and 90's with a current remix. Dress loosely (if you do dress) and get ready to dance the entire hour. This is a good way to get an aerobic workout by dancing and getting your heart rate up.

8 pm to 10 pm

Listen to Big Man's “Jazz Styles” for jazz and blues of various eras hosted by Elbert "Big Man" Howard.

10 pm to 2 am

The Green Baron closes the day’s DJ programming with late night mind-bending antics and a variety of contemporary rock and roll.

On Sunday morning the day’s programming begins at 9 AM with Kaleidescape, a musical journey crossing space and time, hosted by Megan Hope.
